Your Web In A Box e-mail account supports configuration of an auto-responder (sometimes known as a 'vacation reply') to automatically respond to each e-mail you receive with a pre-set message.


These messages are sent to each recipient e-mail only once per day to ensure they are not flooded with replies, or that loops are not created.


To configure an auto-responder, you need to 

  1. Login to webmail with the specific e-mail address requiring configuration, through the link on our website or directly at https://webmail.webinabox.net.au
  2. Select the Settings option from the menubar in the top-right
  3. Select the Out of Office option from the menu on the left
  4. Configure the Subject for the reply message, as shown in the example you can use ${subject} to include the original message's subject -- this is recommended to make it easier for recipients to understand which message triggered the reply
  5. Configure the Body for the reply, note that the senders original message is NOT included in the reply
  6. Set the start and end dates for the autoresponder, even if enabled it will not act outside of these dates
  7. Lastly ensure you set the Enabled option to Yes or the auto-responder will not activate
